The window frames were also refinished white, to also cut down on heat absorption. As with the exterior, the interior was fully painted two-tone with low VOC paint, improving the indoor air quality and minimizing negative environmental impact. Additionally the paint is a high-quality Behr Premium Plus Satin, a Consumer Report's best for combination stain resistance. All windows are covered with new 2-inch faux wood blinds and new vertical blinds. The white color blinds also helps to reflect hot light back outside. The flooring throughout the house is a beautiful and rare color palate 20-inch porcelain tile with 1/8 inch (i.e. small) grout lines for better indoor air quality (when compared to carpet) and super easy cleaning. We want our good residents to stay forever, but if they must eventually move out, we've done what we can to make sure they can get as *much* of their deposit back (or *all* of it) as possible. Vaulted ceilings, recessed lights, 5 light chandelier for the eating area, and small breakfast bar behind the sink. All appliances are included. The GE built-in carousel microwave and smooth-top range / self-cleaning oven are both large capacity. The extra large top-freezer refrigerator is Energy Star (meaning a minimum of 20% greater efficiency against a comparable model), making it about 30% more efficient than side-by-side models, and about 50% more efficient than a non Energy Star side-by-side. The Kitchen Aid dishwasher is also Energy Star. The sink, faucet, and garbage disposer are also brand new. The Kohler enamel sink is large and deep, with a flat-bottom, is scratch, chip, and burn resistant, and is made from recycled materials. Unlike typical rental sinks, your glasses aren't going to fall over from a curved bottom, you'll actually be able to fit more than 2 bowls in the sink, and it'll be easier to keep in good shape. The faucet was just replace (2015) goose-neck, brushed nickel pull-down. The kitchen and bath cabinets just had their exteriors hand-refinished with sealed joints and high-gloss Behr paint for a professional job. Some base cabinets and drawers feature a new interior removable liner system to prevent cabinet stains and damage so you'll have less 'oops' issues, and so cleaning those hard to remove stains can be done standing with the liner removed, instead of crouched over and on your knees. Lastly the sink cabinet base was replaced and the area sealed. The countertop was also hand restored with has a high gloss 'HD laminate' finish for beauty and easy cleaning. Great sink placement connects anyone washing dishes to the rest of the family room activity, or for keeping an eye on little ones in the backyard. All bedrooms, the living room, and the family room have newer 52-inch ceiling fans with light fixtures, and separate fan and light switches.
